For starters, the trial began two hours late because an unidentified person pulled a courthouse fire alarm, whose siren summoned the naval station’s fire and rescue services to the scene. George told the Court she had been present during Blinken’s meetings with now-deceased Lloyd Austin and other high-ranking administration officials after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his Special Military Operation in Ukraine in February 2022. She described those meetings—Biden was never present—as discussions on how to terminate Putin’s presidency and “make a hell of a lot of money doing it.”
She said Blinken, not Biden, authored arms and financial aid packages to Ukraine, and that he, Austin, and former Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen (also now deceased) schemed ways of funneling additional cash to Volodymyr Zelenskyy without the approval of Congress. George said she heard talk of “kickbacks,” though dollar amounts weren’t discussed at the meetings she had attended.
