How swiftly they’ve transitioned from the high-handed enforcers of Covid mandates to the innocent bystanders feigning ignorance. They have become deft in the art of the backpedal, twisting tales, and conveniently misplacing facts in the annals of their spurious narrations.
Take Tony Fauci, for instance, the man who assumed the mantle of Covid command, his words turned to mandates, imprisoning us in our homes to ‘flatten the curve.‘ Yet, in a conversation with The New York Times last week, this master puppeteer nonchalantly denied any part in the dreaded lockdowns.
His audacious retort?
“Show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down,” smirking as if the shackles of lockdown were a figment of our collective imagination.
A blatant attempt to shift the blame onto the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Fauci remains the architect behind the guidelines that held the nation hostage. His feeble attempt to recast his role, suggesting he was merely a voice echoing the CDC’s recommendations, is nothing short of a bald-faced lie.
Perhaps dementia is beginning to corrode the corridors of Fauci’s memory, blurring the lines between truth and falsity, allowing him to escape into the realm of denial and delusion. There’s a macabre hilarity in watching this public health jester try to erase his legacy of tyranny and expecting us to turn a blind eye.
Let’s jog his memory back to October 2020 when he practically gloated about influencing President Donald Trump to “shut the country down” prematurely. Meanwhile, Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), has suddenly developed amnesia regarding her draconian stance on masking children.
“We spent every day from February [2020] on trying to get schools open,” Weingarten recently proclaimed in Congress. Yet, it was her vehement stand against reopening schools and insistence on masking children that added more fuel to the bonfire of lockdown lunacy.
Then we have the Prime Minister of the North, Justin Trudeau. Amid the chants of the Trucker Convoys protesting his vaccination mandates, he feigned ignorance, audaciously claiming he never forced anyone to take the jab. Evidently, the truth is an elastic concept in the hands of these Covid conspirators.
“Trying to convince the American public (and the world) that they did and said exactly the opposite of what they actually did and said,” as Michael Chamberlain, director of Protect the Public’s Trust, eloquently stated, is nothing less than a brazen attempt at gaslighting.
